Eder Delin and Eder Tosgahl, like many other Ages have Yeesha/Bahro influence upon them. Within both Ages is a large metal "Bahro Door" that like the Ages contained within the original "Journey" is tied to Journey Cloths scattered around the landscape.

 +
Unlike the other Ages the cloths in Delin and Tsogahl work slightly differently. Explorers who try to access the Bahro Door set off the lock mechanism. This lock highlights the combination needed to access the door. Within the Ages each cloth when activated correlates with a segment of the combination, like the other Ages there are again seven Journey Cloths.
 +
Each cloth must be activated in the required order but before the lock mechanism has completed a full rotation. This requirement means that explorers must work together to open the door which has resulted in people referring to this journey as the Path of Cooperation.
 +
 +
Within the group of explorers trying to access the door one will either choose to be, or nominated to be "The Caller". The others will take up positions at each of the Journey Cloths with any other explorers observing.
 +
 +
The Journey Cloths are each assigned numbers depending on what part of the combination they produce. The Caller will then activate the Bahro Door lock and call out the numbers required. Each explorer will then activate their correlating Journey Cloth in order to release the lock and open the door.

Successful attempts will allow the explorers into a Bahro tunnel where they are Linked to a Bahro Cave. Within which is a segment of a Stone Wedge.

Delin Deciduous can be found upon the landmasses found within Spheres 1, 2, and 3. The grass grows sparsely most likely due to it trying to grow in the hard rock of the island. The grass that does grow seems to thrive however but does not seem to grow too long. It should be noted that the grass (if the same specie within each of the three spheres) does not require an ample light source to survive as it grows within Sphere 03 which has a very limited light. Indeed all 3 of the spheres lack natural sunlight in general.<br />

(Eder = Rest, Delin = Mist/Misty))
Author: Unknown

Date Written: 8100's DE
Date Released: 19/01/07

Book location: D'ni Neighborhood

Designation: D’ni Age

Eder Delin was written during the "Garden Binge" of the 8100's along with Eder Kemo, Eder Gira, Eder Tsogahl, and numerous others.

The Age was the first to be released in the DRC's second restoration attempt with Marie Sutherland spending considerable time there during late 2005.

The first glimpse of the Age in the explorer community came during the DRC Liaisons' first meeting with the DRC where a KIimage of the Age was placed upon a D'ni Neighborhood imager.

The Age was released to the public on January 19th 2007 where it was given to a small percentage of the neighborhoods. The DRC later that day issued Linking Books to all the neighbourhoods with an apology for their ill-advised decision to release the Age to a limited amount of neighborhoods.

A second garden Age called Eder Tsogahl was released a month later.

Eder Delin and Eder Tsogahl are similar to that of Kemo and Gira in the sense that they are two parts of a single journey. Both Delin and Tsogahl contain Bahro Doors that lead to the same Bahro Cave in which to halves of one of the Stone Wedges can be obtained.

Appearance

Eder Delin takes its name from the pink tinted mist that permeates the Age. Combined with the various flora and fauna it gives the Age an almost eternal autumn atmosphere about it.

The Age is situtated in a basin within a dense forest of huge trees and smaller wildlife. Due to the heavy fog it is hard to discern a day night cycle.

Photo-eder-delin-snow.jpg

The Age does have seasons however, and is prone to snow fall which blankets the Age. Curiously when the seasons change it creates a vast change in wildlife bringing in its own variety of animals including different species of birds. Delin is very similar to Kemo in terms of layout albeit smaller in size. the Age is situated in a valley of craggy pitted rock.

Like Kemo it contains a floating statue like the ones discovered in the Rebek Figurine Shop.

Stained Glass Windows

In early 2007 the DRC hosted a series restoration contests in regards to stained glass windows for Eder Delin, Tsogahl and later for the Great Zero (much akin to the contest held in the past for Gahreesen stained glass windows.

Three winning restoration projects were announced and were hung in various Neighborhoods over the Delin and Tsogahl Books.

Path of Cooperation

Eder Delin and Eder Tosgahl, like many other Ages have Yeesha/Bahro influence upon them. Within both Ages is a large metal "Bahro Door" that like the Ages contained within the original "Journey" is tied to Journey Cloths scattered around the landscape.

Each cloth must be activated in the required order but before the lock mechanism has completed a full rotation. This requirement means that explorers must work together to open the door which has resulted in people referring to this journey as the Path of Cooperation.

Within the group of explorers trying to access the door one will either choose to be, or nominated to be "The Caller". The others will take up positions at each of the Journey Cloths with any other explorers observing.
