Re: JUNE 24th, 2026 TOWN HALL

(06/24 14:40:48) Calum Traveler: if people are okay with them as is, theyll probably stay, but I don't mind re-recording them, or having someone else replace me as announcer in the future, if deemed necessary
If you need another voice for something, I did a little work with the Cavern Today way ...

Re: Descent Survey In Progress.

I'm glad to hear no one was hurt! A shame about the damage though. It's always steps forward, steps back.

Re: RE: Chiso Preniv Security

I hesitate to say it, but an off-site backup location also gives us extra security in case something catastrophic happens in the Cavern or individuals with less-than-honorable intentions look to cause trouble with a D'ni location. It doesn't have to be very big or ostentatious, just enough to hold ...

Re: Descent Survey In Progress.

That makes sense. None of us would ever have reached D'ni if we had to use the Great Shaft and the path. She had to give us another way.

Re: RE: Chiso Preniv Security

Would we prefer a location in the city away from the hustle and bustle? Or are we talking about another "off-site" location in case all hell breaks loose in the cavern? I can certainly do some scouting on my bike in the Belari district (now that I replaced my tires...). The whole area wasn't in the ...

Re: Descent Survey In Progress.

Thanks for the reminder to wear our hard hats. Too many things can go wrong. I feel the same dread when I'm out cycling and see other cyclists without helmets.

I have to say, I'm concerned by the number of quakes that have impeded the work in just the last couple of years. It's been a recurring ...

Re: 8/27/25 Town Hall - Descent Update.

I wish I were able to get down to these meetings, but I'm on the surface picking up my kid from school at the same time :( . Thank you for posting these notes. I'm excited to see the survey of Descent!

Re: An Old Explorer Reporting

Thank you, Calum. And no apologies necessary--I'd be down in the Cavern much more often if surface life wasn't so busy, too.

And you're an old-timer, too!

With the recent announcement of Doobes' departure, I know resources of all kinds are stretched really thin right now. I don't have that kind of ...
