Bevin Neighborhood

Located along the cavern wall in the City Proper, the Bevin Neighbourhood is one of a great many D'ni Neighborhoods within the D'ni cavern. It shares the same layout as the Seret Neighborhood and Kirel Neighborhood although the Kirel Neighbor hood has a "mirrored" layout to Bevin.

Bevin was the first neighborhood that the DRC restored. In early 2002 the DRC decided that sections of Bevin were safe enough for access to be granted to the Authorized Explorers. Over the course of the year more areas were opened up to the explorers and a Ahyoheek table was restored to working order.

In July 2002 participants of the Mysterium gathering were given a remote tour of the Bevin Neighborhood and Eder Kemo by Rand Miller, Dr. Watson, and Authorized Explorer IMF Foreman.

Towards the end of 2002 the DRC began restoration on the Seret Neighborhood with the growing influx of new explorers granted access to D'ni by Yeesha and Jeff Zandi these explorers were assigned to the Seret Neighborhood. As the population of new explorers boomed the DRC began to restore a great many other neighborhoods to accommodate all of the new people.

During the Third Restoration neighborhoods within the KI and Nexus system were misnamed as Bevin, giving rise to the belief that Bevin is the D'ni word for Neighborhood. This is incorrect as Bevin, like Kirel and Seret are named after D'ni people.
