Marker System Oddities

On: October 06, 2003This weekend I started picking up signals way, way out in an unexplored (as far as I know) part of the cavern. Lots of them. The angle coord was steady and this struck me as odd. So I plotted out the points…it’s a vertical line descending from somewhere near the cavern ceiling.
Anyone been working on something out in Rudenna?
Extruder Update

On: October 07, 2003I had fears that we might not receive any designs that would work with the extruders. However, the quality of the compositions has given me hope to recreate these artifacts. No guarantees, but we might have something to look at later this week.
Update for the art and modeling contests

On: October 15, 2003I was hoping to have the art and modeling contest winners announced today. However, Mark has been working insane hours and now is sick. It looks like we won’t be able to release the winners to the public till next week.

Contest Travesty

On: October 22, 20035 winners… I thought we would at least run the contests correctly.
With these out of the way, I hope we can again focus on more important matters.

The Pub in J’Taeri

On: October 30, 2003We’re giving it to Sharper. Given Teledahn’s progress, I won’t expect to see anything from our “Shroom Baron” for a year or two.
But with all the contests to make our visitors happy, who needs new areas to be approved quickly?

On: October 30, 2003Now, now Dr. K, I think Douglas did a fine job on Teledahn. Besides, there will be enough other intriguing areas that no one will miss a pub for some time.
While we’re talking about the obstacles in approving new areas… I was thinking we could use the population counter in the Nexus to keep things from getting out of hand there. We could set the maximum occupancy, if you will, rather low to begin with and step it up as the infrastructure improves.
What do you think?
