On: February 02, 2006We all agree that the scattering of people still visting the cavern is problematic. I have a proposal I’d like to discuss with you both, and it would be great if there was some way to make sure Engberg were here as well.

It’s hard to believe that today marks the two year anniversary of the cancelation of the restoration effort.
It’s been a long two years, especially for those of you who have remained, hoping to revive it again.
I wish I had a bigger announcement for the day but I will say that we are anticipating being able to gather again with you in one place next week. It’s a small step but hopefully a step in the right direction.

They have already started working on it.
I told them that they’d have at least a few weeks to discuss this amongst themselves. We need to set a formal deadline.

I’ve received a few private messages asking for more details about the representatives’ roles.
I’m sorry, but we don’t have a lot more details to give at this point. We just wanted to give you a chance to start the ball rolling from your end while we’re hammering out the details from our end.
At the minimum, the representatives need to be able to attend occasional meetings with DRC members. The frequency and length of these meetings are still to be determined and will be adjusted as necessary.
More information will be provided as it is decided.
