I’ve discovered an issue, the entire Age has been torched.

Steve, can you swing by and translate whatever has been carved into the wall please.

Keira, we need an inspection team to do a sweep before we can even think about cleaning it up.

Steven’s over at the City Proper at the moment, he said he’d swing by as soon as he can.

The Linking Books are not working, to much damage to the pages. The books from the shelf had been pulled into a pile and set alight. We’ve been sifting through the ashes and found traces of several volumes from the books available.

We took some samples and gave them to Rob, he said they contained traces of an accelerate, so it was intended.

Tell him not to worry, Whil and Erik came up with translations of the text.

Outsiders will not learn the Art.

Is it possible we could be dealing with a D’ni survivor? Stands to reason not all of them would be happy with us crawling all over their former empire, taking the Art and making it ours.

The thing I can’t figure out is how they found the Age in the first place, unless progress was being monitored by the person/people involved but that doesn’t sit right with me either.

Securing the Age seems to be foolish, to many people have access now.

Actually, now that I think about it Steve could do with swinging by anyway and proceed to identify which Linking Book is which, I only counted 2 books, so either Artas, Orth of Tailehn is missing, unless it ended up in the pile of burnt books which could well be.

I’d also like to hold a meeting in Tehren in an hour or so.

There’s a Linking issue now: The Age doesn’t show up in the Nexus when using the Offline KI. Could this be related to the entire Age being burned?

I don’t believe, so. I think that is more down to the Age not being added to the Nexus by us.

I see, that would have been an easy way for a repeated attack on the Age, possibly damaging the remaining Links and documents. Hadn’t thought of it before.

As if setting fire to the place wasn’t bad enough – some fiend actually changed the *name* of the age!
