Re: Deep City Lecture
Taking a break from recuperating from my faculty Christmas night out to share an early Christmas present for us all, the second in the Deep City lectures which is taking place next Wednesday!

Tonight's the night! Should be an interesting lecture, I'd think.

A most interesting lecture it was too. Link for the Twitch recording, I imagine it will be appearing on the Guild of Archivist's YouTube account in due course as well.

Re: Deep City Lecture
I've been keeping an eye out for a youtube upload, but it's probably just delayed by holiday nonsense. I was thoroughly occupied all day with such things after all.

I'm a couple days late, but the Youtube video was finally posted on the last lecture.

Re: Deep City Lecture
Seems they've announced the Next Deep City Lecture. March 5th, at 3 PM (IE: 15:00 KI).
The subject is the D'ni Legal System, it seems. Fascinating subject, but I'll definitely be cutting my corners tightly on scheduling that day. I'm already cutting it closely with the AGM then meeting with Patrick after.

It's going to be a bit late for me, but it's a Saturday. I'll definitely be at the AGM, and afterwards I'll stick around for the Lecture! I'm quite curious, and I love public lectures on the Surface, too.

Re: Deep City Lecture
Damnation, I'll be away that weekend at a conference in Brighton. In addition, Edward's insisted I go with him to something called a "silent Disco", whatever that mad-sounding concept entails.
Will definitely be watching the recording afterwards though, I've been hoping this particular aspect of D'ni culture gets explored at some point so I'm quite pleased this is happening. If any questions get fielded, any chance of asking about if there's any knowledge on D'ni Wills and Succession/Inheritance? Worked with someone who specialises in that sort of area, may be of some interest to them.
