The Ferry Terminal of Ae’gura was once a hub of activity providing entry to Ae’gura from the City Proper and other areas of the cavern as well as providing access to the subway leading to other sections of Ae’gura.
Whilst various Bahro Stones allow access to sections of D’ni it is the Ferry Terminal itself that provides explorers with true access to Ae’gura.
Appearance
The Ferry Terminal sits off to the side of the harbour, situated behind the Terminal building. Flanked with ancient columns the Terminal building extends out to the edge of the D’ni lake where it channels the light from the lake water and reflects it to act as a light house for boats traversing the lake.
Through the entry way a series of docks allowed for access to the ferry service.
Just behind the ferry terminal and situated partially under the Great Stairs is the entrance to the Subway building.
Lake Light Level Meter
During the second D'ni Restoration Council restoration the DRC released the Age of Er'cana and with it the Ashem'en District as part of an long term restoration process to restore the cycle of the lake algae.
To track changes within the algae the DRC installed the Lake Light Level Meter (nicknamed The Dalek by the explorer community). The level is represented as a numerical value between 0 and 4 with 0 being its darkest dormant state and 4 being a rejuvenated algae. During the second restoration explorers considered the lake meter broken due to the numerical value not changing due to the long length of the restoration period required.
