Around the year 9365 DE, a D'ni citizen called Manesmo stumbled upon the Teledahn Book in a pile of rubbish. Manesmo began to utilize the Age and restarted the production of bread that was once made from the mushrooms that were native to Teledahn.
Around 9396 DE Manesmo had manged to amass a substantial amount of money from sales of the bread but from also trading in slaves which he carried out upon the Age of Teledahn. With his growing wealth he purchased an office within D'ni on Ae'gura. The office, which sits high above the Tokotah Courtyard remained in his possession until his death during the Fall of D'ni.
During the Second Restoration the DRC found Teledahn and planned to restore it. Douglas Sharper was put in charge to oversee the restoration effort. During his time on Teledahn he discovered a Linking Book to the office and elected to keep it secret from the DRC and use the office for himself.
