 The Age houses Keith's research into The Bahro and The Art.
 The island is home to large clusters of crystals that mimic the makeup of crystals used by Atrus on Rime and the healing stone used by Katran to fix the Tay Book. In addition large stone cubes based on the same composition as the [[Bahro Stones]] jut out of the surrounding rock upon the island. Both elements utilized by Keith in his experiments with The Art.

 Sul is a small island sat within a calm ocean. Large rocks rise out of the placid waters meeting stone cliffs that form the island. Large crystals grow across the island and vast stone cubes of marbled rock protrude from the rocky landscape.
 Surrounding the island is the vast remains of an unknown creature. The Link in point sits just off of the coast leading to a stone staircase that winds upwards to an enclosed area of verdant grass and strange spiral shaped trees. At the center of this area is a large rock dome that contains the Bahro research lab.

With supplies of Korteenea and ink running low in the cavern Keith spent several years researching the processes the D'ni used to manufacture both.
