 Not just an overlap between two Ages, the Takes also serve as home for the “Slates” these are tools that allow for communication with the Bahro (The Bahro follow anything written on it if they understand what it is), the Slates are also keys that unlock the Tablet.

 The first is what could be described as their written language. An extensive catalog of symbols and markings that as of yet has not been translated by the explorer community.

 The Age of Minkata is home to an example of the Bahro language with English written along side it. It is theorized that the english is a translation of the glyphs written on the rock but this is still speculation at this point however the concept seems likely. It seems possible that the Bahro language is more complicated than it appears on the surface, with symbols not just reflecting works but ideas and concepts much like the D'ni Garohevtee. Given the Bahrotee innate understanding of the Art and Linking abilities it would seem likely.
