August 2002 Discussions
references available?

On: August 01, 2002My apologies for not attending the inaugural maintainer trip to the new Age found in the industrial area, but my attention was required elsewhere. The feedback from several resengs who were in attendance was very positive. This new Age certainly will have much to offer.
Apparently there were more maps and schematics of the currently secured areas than were available at our last Council briefing on this Age. Can these references be made accessible to those of us who missed the expedition?

On: August 01, 2002Come by the Tokotah. I have some things I can show you.
By the way, are any of you following the latest obsession on the surface?

On: August 01, 2002Kinda funny.
They find it a year later, after the sign has been taken down.
Oh well :)

On: August 13, 2002Who would have thought, Victor? A barn.
I don’t think we have much to worry about.

On: August 14, 2002Kodamasan,
I just rang the sign company about possibly purchasing it. Perhaps I’ll hang it in the Tokotah meeting room. Wouldn’t that be a brilliant twist! Smile
When’s the next surface trip?V

On: August 14, 2002Don’t you have better things to do?
How much?

On: August 15, 2002Yes, Kodama, we all definitely have better things to do.
Victor, do we really want that thing hanging in the Tokotah? Besides, it’s not exactly easy to get large objects down here. Unless it’s in a portable enough form that it can be carried easily by one person, I don’t think we should be using our resources to bring down a silly billboard.
We need to keep focused on the task at hand. This is not a time for distractions, guys.

On: August 16, 2002I’m still planning to purchase it. (I’ve got to try to ring Mr. Losey again.) And as for carrying it down, that’ll be on my back. Very Happy
If nobody else wants it in the Tokotah, I’ve got plenty of other places to put it down here.
Won’t we need a supply trip before the end of the month?

Ae’gura

On: August 28, 2002Who is authorizing the opening of Ae’gura?
I believe we are all aware of the multiple safety concerns, and to open it at this time is both irresponsible and dangerous.
I would like an explanation.

On: August 28, 2002Dr. K,
It would appear that missing a scheduled meeting because you’re working and don’t want to be bothered has consequences. :)
In this case, you missed the meeting where we had a lengthy debate on opening areas of Ae’gura even though they have not yet passed all of our safety inspections.
It was decided that this will be used as a small trial area, where the hazards are a bit greater, to test the responsibility of those we have trusted to join us in D’ni. It may turn out that our current safety standards are too strict.
Not likely, but possible. But we’ll never know unless we give them access to a slightly more dangerous area.
In light of your concerns, however, we will re-emphasize the hazards of Ae’gura’s current state.
:)
Dr. Watson
PS – Maybe you’ll attend the next meeting? We’re all busy, Ikuro, but the meetings are for more than just eating donuts, you know. :)
