Tahgayrahn

Due to the damaged nature of the Age and the area within the Descriptive Book was found, documentation on this Age is scarce.

What documentation found shows that the name is Tahgayrahn (roughly translated to Place of Learning), was was a library and classroom of sorts for young members of the Guild of Writers.

Restoration Log

16-05-10: Library sealed off, secondary restoration phase of the area to be determined at a later date.

We ask that you do not slip past he safety barrier please, the library wing has not been checked for safety.

Work continues on tables and chairs.

Walling clean up finishes in classroom and stairwell. Further clean up warranted for Link-in-hall.
15-05-10: Pump set up in the library wing to remove the water.

Work continues on the shelving.

Restoration of tables and chairs taking place, more damage ones removed for outside repairs.

Tapestries hung in the classroom.

Age passes Phase 2 review, Phase 2 begins.

14-05-10: Structural integrity of the floor in the Link in hall has been impaired, workers are asked to be mindful of the area surrounding the fallen rock.

Book’s contained within the Age were a lot larger than the ones that will replace them, as a result the shelving areas are being retrofitted to carry the smaller books.

Work continues on the pillars and walls. Stair well from Link in hall to classroom is being looked at.

Passage to Library still flooded.

13-05-10: Clean up continues, stonework on the pillars has been restored and tidied up.

Replaced the firemarbles in the pillar lamps with new ones, new lighting has eased up on the gloom of the area.

Supplies brought in.

Sections of the ceiling had fallen in the past, studies taking place to check for further structural issues.
01-04-10: Documentation found indicating the two wings were a classroom and library, library would be the area inaccessible currently.

So far a third of the books in the classroom have been sorted through, out of that third every one of them were damaged beyond repair.

31-03-10: Structural tests of the surrounding area carried out.

Pumps installed in the left wing for water removal. Temporary lighting brought in.

29-03-10: Sounder team results inconclusive.

Breach sealed, left wing cleanup commencing, corpses sent for proper burial. Team carefully sorting through books for undamaged ones.

28-03-10: Breach in ceiling source of flooding, outer water source still to be determined, sounder team due to visit to see. Breach is due to be sealed.

Access to the right wing is completely blocked, restoration will focus on the hall and the left wing room.

Left wing room has minimal flooding, damp has destroyed vast amounts of the books.

27-03-10: Descriptive Book discovered. Initial Link made and samples collected.

Age heavily damaged, flooding has blocked off entire sections, not sure where water is coming from outside of structure.

Samples come back clean, some mold spores noted, Age enters Phase 1.
