Yeah, at this point I think we can probably write off (no pun intended) any chance of seeing the real Myst (pun intended this time). If Myst V is to be believed, it's mostly in ruins anyway. And Drewsko--if you go back to the Second Restoration, you pretty much ARE a long-time explorer at this point...

I think the important thing is that we start securing our stuff. Keep all personal belongings on your Relto, or in another secure place. Don't let anyone into the areas where things are kept unless you trust them.

I'm interested in knowing the Writer, myself. There's clearly a history to the Age and I definitely want to learn more about it.

There are definitely people who hang out away from the crowds, as Calum put it. I've run into several explorers who really just wanted to be left alone. It's totally fine--I respect their decision. But, yeah, they are definitely out there.
