Re: Cavern Lake "Nessie"
The lakefish! Believe it or not, you can barely just see them from the hood balcony if they swim up close. It makes sense when you stop and think about it... there must be some sort of ecology in the lake beyond algae. What do the algae eat after all, if it's just nutrient pellets then how is it sti...

....although admittedly they strike me as those dealing in the stuff. Well, except for actually selling to explorers. Sure no medical supplies were stolen during the vandalism? And a broken piece of machinery you've 'broken' again is a great way to dead-drop transit something, if it's not working an...

Re: Think we need to hold a Town Hall.
Hang on a second... that didn't click until just now. Wooden masks? Why hand-carved wood? It's far easier to get some generic plastic thing, and far more anonymous, or of course the usual generic black ski masks... I agree for a town hall, but I'd also suggest taking the photos of the masks and comp...

It's.. also a possibility. A very tricky one. The catch is any genetic tests. There are surface D'ni, we know that must have happened, and they likely interbred as it were. Thing is they raided the relto, so all we know about the overall timing really is he did the first journey then lost his memory...

Re: Encounter in the Great Library
It occurred to me too.. first we'd need to find *where* he's from. That's almost as hard... because there's enough overlap he apparently comes from *a* USA, and so on. So we can't immediately go the obvious of nazi earth and move on, as it were. Of course, another question is how. I mean, let's face...

Re: From Tiernan: Planned meeting with Benavud
I'm pegging 'earthworlder', specifically 'different earth instance surfacer'. He knows too much about the place implicitly to be from another age natively. Including places, names, and so on. How familiar was he with the KI when taught? Did he seem to have an idea already or take time to learn the s...

Re: Encounter in the Great Library
I'm kinda miffed I never thought about asking about the rings. So we know he's done the main journey, got his shirt, but not the others. And his books were taken a bit after that. We also know he's from earth, but not our earth. Unclear where, but a country where english is the main language and oth...

Re: Encounter in the Great Library
Discussion on the discord made me realize some things. One, after a head injury there is a super small but possible chance of some sort of Foreign Accent Syndrome, Usually happens after strokes or large brain trauma... and we are dealing with apparent retrograde amnesia (which however is generally i...

Re: Sabotage in the Clinic
I was reading this and you said that the graffiti said "Go Home". Does the wording mean anything? ....now that you mention it, if it was a threat it'd be "GO BACK HOME" . GO HOME sounds like a plea almost. Of course we're assuming the pair if it was them are considering such lin...

Obviously our recent prophecy. Roots of a tree looming tall, "the remains of a tree once proud", and more than that "you are the sun, and you are the heir. breath not of the poisoned air"
