The Figurine Shop can be located on the "Canyon Strip" of Ae'gura next door to the Kadish Gallery. It is a smallish shop that prior to The Fall sold statues and sculptures sourced from the Age of Rebek. Long ago Rebek was struck by a meteorite the result of which caused widespread magnetism within the rock. As a result there was a curious phenomenon where the rocks within the Age would levitate. These rocks were harvested from the Age and fashioned into artworks which were sold within the D'ni cavern. Examples of these artworks back be found in Eder Kemo and Eder Delin.

The shop also served as the location for the Rebek Linking Book and the games that were held there were organized via the shop.

----

Appearance
The figurine shop is split into two sections, the gallery area and the warehouse.

The gallery area is the initial area visitors enter, it is a small room with carved rock pillars formed to resemble organic shapes in an almost art nouveau design aesthetic. Several sculptural pieces are scattered about on display for purchasing. A small counter sits in front of a doorway that leads back into the warehouse area. A viewing balcony sits above the counter on the second floor.

There warehouse was where the rock was imported and stored from Rebek. It was also here that the rock was formed into the sculptures that were sold in the store front. The warehouse is a simple "L" shaped room with a stairwell that leads up to a second level and to the balcony. A second exit from the shop can be found in the warehouse area that leads out to an alleyway that borders the Figurine Shop and Kadish Gallery.
Highgarden is a small area of Fahets that was discovered during an exploration trip across the Fahets mainland. Upon discovering the area Keith brought the other members of the Third Path council to visit the area. The council members spent more and more time relaxing in the area so it was turned into a garden for them.
The area once had an abundance of flora and fauna which was greatly decimated by the destabilization event. Over the years the wildlife has slowly returned but not to the extent that it once was.

When the Third Path dissolved following the Bahro civil war the area went unused for a number of years until Keith decided to open it to the public. In January 2022 he and members of the Guild of Restorers started preparing the area for release. After several months of work the area was opened to the public in a short ceremony in Chiso Preniv on the 1st of October 2022.
Appearance
Highgarden is situated at the summit of a smaller island off the coast of the Fahets mainland. It is a small tiered valley with dark grey rock that is pockmarked in places. Long grass grows around bright glowing blue flowers and strange spherical plants. Large trees shelter the area and the Norapods that can be found growing.
The area has two ponds and structures reminiscent in style of Eder Kemo. The smaller pond is flanked by seven statues of D'ni craftsmanship which was gifted to the Third Path council by the D'ni artisan Tommen.

A small room sits within the rock face at the bottom of a long stairwell which once served as the Book room. This room has since been repurposed as a small office. A larger Book Room was recently constructed next to the larger pond.

The area once had a large butterfly population but this population has significantly decreased due to the spread of Crimson Blight.

----

Notable Wildlife
Spikius Regium - A bright yellow almost luminescent butterfly. They are a migratory species that were once abundant in Highgarden. Their migration route takes them past the Crimson Vale. As a result the species have contracted the Crimson Blight which has greatly reduced their numbers. Healthy specimens have been captured and segregated in the hopes of rebuilding the population once the blight has been contained.

Civitas Dysonis - Highgarden is littered with these strange small spherical plants. Nestled in a bed of large leaves these plants grow surrounded by a webbed shell. On the inside of these webs are lots of little spikes. When it is time for the Dysonis to spread the inner sphere will inflate and push against the little spikes causing the sphere to burst and release seeds into the air.

Norapod - A curious pod like plant from which it derives its name. These plants are actually fruit like in nature, with a firm outer skin which can withstand the constant rain, yet allow the water in to help itself grow. And a soft juicy center filled with seeds. The inner core greatly resembles a tomato in nature, however Norapods are a sweet tasting fruit with a slight bitter aftertaste.

Small at “birth” they resemble small bluish balls on the ground until the start growing, causing the skins hue and texture to change. It is currently speculated that when the fruits get over ripe they burst spreading the seeds within.

Fahets was the first successful Age that was Written by Keith Lord.

After initial visits were made to the Age, the Linking Book was misplaced in The Third Path’s archives and remained missing for a couple of years before being discovered again. In that time the Age had flooded badly from rain and the water needed to be pumped out before work could progress on developing the Age for public release.

The Age went through a period of destabilization due to minor flaws within the Kormahn. As a result the landscape was effected causing rifts in the floor and rock face. The Age was later stabilized and has remained stable since.

Appearance
Fahets is a large island with a series of smaller islands scattered off its coast. The area of the main island varies from jungle forests and swamp land to barren rocky area. Whilst the Age is relatively large visitors only have access to the "Basin" and Highgarden area currently.

During the destabilization of the Age a large section of the Fahets island to the south collapsed into the sea creating a new island off the coast.

The Basin
The Basin, also referred to as Fahets "Prime", is the name given to the initial Link in point for the Age. It is a grassy area situated within a small basin surrounded by a rocky forest. The area is rich in wildlife with numerous plants growing throughout. At the bottom of the basin is a small pond. The area was prone to heavy rains which often caused the basin to flood. As a result a large water pump was installed to keep the water levels down.

During the destabilization of Fahets the land within the basin shifted resulting in the basin floor, and pond, becoming tiered. A section of the basin walls collapsed allowing easier access to the area outside of the basin. This collapse was secured and a new path built to make accessing the outer area of the basin safer.

Populating the area are large columns of carved stone that in some areas have fused with the surrounding landmass.

The Crimson Vale
Originally known as The Vale, it was once a serene area with large mushrooms surrounding a lake. After the destabilization event there has been a curious change in the area. There have been changes to the plants in the area causing them to grow significantly larger than they were once capable of, furthermore red spores cover the area like snow causing the trees and other plant life to take on a red colour. This has resulted in the air in the area has become unsafe without the use of Maintainer suits. What has caused this change has yet to be determined but this "infection" as it has been termed is slowly expanding outwards and threatens the Basin area as well.

An air tight observation point has been constructed to keep an eye on the "Crimson Blight" and study it in the hopes it can be stopped or reversed.

Highgarden
Highgarden is a small garden area situated on the top of a small island off of the north western shore of the main Fahets island.

The area was discovered by Keith during a trek across the main island of Fahets. It was later developed into a rest area for members of the Third Path Council. When the council disbanded the area lay unused until Keith decided to release it to the general public. The Linking Book for Highgarden was made public on the 1st of October 2022 and can be found in Chiso Preniv

The Hub
Whilst not actually an area for Fahets, the hub serves and a "nexus" of sorts allowing for access between the various areas of Fahets.

Wildlife
Norapod: A curious pod like plant from which it derives its name.

Rusteart Plant: Small leaved plants that are dotted around the Age, named after the words Rust and Heart due to the rusty colour of the leaves near the center of the plants formation. These plants thrive on minimal rain, but to much will easily kill them, which is why currently not many are found on Fahets and have only recently started growing as the water had been pumped from the Age.

White Star Lilly: So called due to the small white flower that sits in the center of the lilly pads, White Star Lillies share the Norapods nature in the sense that both live extremely well in very wet conditions. The Lillypads themselves can reach a large size, big enough to support human weight, currently only the small ones can be found. The flowers themselves lend a sweet delicate scent to the pond that combats the musky scent of the waters algae nicely.

Needle Grass - long sharp grass

Stiltwalkers - Tripod creatures with really long legs. Feed on the leaves of the Mangrove trees. They make a strange forlorn humming sound to communicate with each other.

Glowcap - Mushrooms with bioluminescent caps.

Mangark (Grass Shark) - Aquatic lizard like creature. Has long spines on back that looks like blades of grass. The spines extrude a paralytic which they use to paralyze animals and eat them when they fall into the water. Paralytic is capable of subduing humans.

Chaaus - Weird pod things that collect underneath trees and rocks. Give off a blue light. May be egg sacks for the Croombs.

Croombs - Weird little mushroom crabs

Mangrove Trees -

Vikah Mushrooms -

Ferns -
Development Log
19-10-09: Issues resolved thanks to a group of outside helpers, thanks goes to you.

Age passed Phase 5, Linking Book has now been publicly released.

18-10-09: A few issues pushed back Phase 5 approval.

17-10-09: Some minor repairs have been made to the piping for the water pump.

Authorized explorers "Vid" and "Paradox" stop by for a visit.

Age is up for review to see if it passes Phase 5 and reaches approval for public release.

13-10-09: Minor cleanup work commencing.

10-10-09: Age passes Phase 4 approval, Phase 5 commencing, limited access has been expanded to those authorized.

09-10-09: The results from the Norapod sample sent off for testing have returned, the plant, or fruit has it turns out, is apparently safe for consumption, members are now flipping a coin to see who gets to try it first.

A pedestal for the Ages book of commentary is being crafted to be placed in the Age, due to the high water in the Age the book will be placed under cover.

07-10-09: Sophie and her team have managed to construct a crude pumping system that will be better equipped to deal with the heavy rainfall. The pump has been installed next to the pond, her team will continue to refine it as time goes by.

Supply crates have been brought in to aid in the development process.

05-10-09: Water has built up again due to the recent rain, Sophie’s team is looking into developing a new pumping system following some D’ni examples found.

Studies into the “Norapods” that grow within the Age have commenced.

11-09-09: We’ve returned to the Age to inspect it since the last visit. It has been determined that the battle against the rainfall is a loosing one, as a result the pumps have been removed from the Age.

The next few days will involve testing the new wildlife that has grown to see if it is safe for the general public, we may then see about giving the Book out.

30-06-09: Work temporarily suspended.

25-06-09: Work on the Age recommences after a long hiatus. Pumps has forgotten to be turned on during the hiatus, as a result the heavy rain fall the Age is prone to has once again flooded the area.

22-08-08: Plans for development have been given a complete overhaul. Water levels have lowered significantly.

21-08-08: Descriptive Book rediscovered after being missing for about 2 years. Age has been badly flooded due to the heavy rainfall over the years. Nexus Book has been damaged to the point where it is unsafe to use, the Book has been removed. Assessment of the water revealed that it has become stagnant, pumps have been brought in to remove the water. Plans drawn up for Age development.

02-02-07: Copying the Age text from the practice book to the Korteenea has been completed. Initial visit to the Age has taken place and samples taken to assess for safety. Results returned as clear, exploration and mapping commencing.

See entry: Highgarden

The Hub
Whilst not actually an area for Fahets, the hub serves and a "nexus" of sorts allowing for access between the various areas of Fahets.

Wildlife
Norapod: A curious pod like plant from which it derives its name.

Mangrove Trees -
Date Found: Currently Unknown

Date Accessed: 20/09/05

Book location: The Great Shaft

Designation: D’ni Age]]

Direbo was a D'ni rest Age but did not use the "Eder" prefix like Eder Kemo, Eder Gira, Eder Delin, and Eder Tsogahl did.
The original location of the Direbo Book is unknown but it was found in the Eder Tomahn located in The Great Shaft. There is a belief within the explorer community that this was the original home for the Book, but given how the D'ni blocked off The Great Shaft and all but forgot about it the likelihood of them placing a Linking Book there is very slim.

The Age was used at a hub, connected to four other Ages by Yeesha and the Bahro in order to facilitate the freeing of the Bahro.

The Age is currently under a restoration initiative by the Intangibles Group

----

Appearance
Direbo is a gloomy swamp like Age surrounded by a forest of tall stone columns. Several small islands break the surface of the swamp and are connected by arched wooden bridges. The Age has a perpetual twilight atmosphere with a thick purple haze covering the area.

Small insects like Chirteetahm and Dragonflys flitter throughout the columns of rock and mushrooms that protrude from the swampy waters.

----

Bahro Influence
At some point in its history the Bahro added a series of "Takes" to help facilitate people taking part in The Quest to free the Bahro. These "Takes" are an overlap between two points in space and time using a see-saw mechanism allowing for travel from Direbo to four Ages Laki'ahn, Noloben, Tahgira, and Todelmer. These "Takes" also allow for travel from these four Ages back to Direbo.

Each "Take" contained a large heavy stone slates that could be inscribed with symbols that the Bahro could read and would assist the quest taker to progress through the four Ages and release the Bahro Tablet.

Notable Wildlife
Antenna Mushroom are numerous within the Age of Direbo, the flourish in the shallow swamp waters of the Age and can range in size from a few feet tall to upwards of 10 to 12 feet.

They have long thin twisting stalks and are crowned with a bulbous cap a dark purple in colour.

Arhek Butterfly are a small lavender coloured butterfly with very similar markings to the butterflies found in Kadish Tolesa, Laki'ahn, and Relto.

It is theorized that they, like the Chirteetahm and Danysfly are a source of food for the Direbo Nightjar that can be found within the Age.

Chirteetahm Direbo or "Fire Organisms" are the name given to the fireflies that are native to the Age of Direbo. The Chirteetahm Direbo flitter between the stone columns and mushrooms that litter the Age.

Unlike the Chirteetahm Kemo the Chirteetahm Direbo do not seem to flock towards explorers. Due to the seeming lack of witnessed rain it is unknown if the Chirteetahm Direbo react towards rain and water in the same manner as the Chirteetahm Kemo.

Danysfly are a specie of small dragonfly like insects (hence the naming Danysfly after the character Daenerys Targaryen of the Song of Ice and Fire books)

The Danysfly are predatory both in the aquatic nymphal and adult stages. Nymphs feed on a range of invertebrates found in the swamps of Direbo. Adults capture insect prey in the air, making use of their acute vision and highly controlled flight.

Direbo Nightjar are a small nocturnal bird that can occasionally be seen flying among the stone pillars of Direbo. Their dusky colouring makes it very hard to spot them in the gloomy atmosphere of Direbo but they are common flying around in small groups

It is theorized that they like the Chirteetahm and Danysfly as a source of food.

Whilst the Age is relatively large visitors only have access to the "Basin" area currently.

During the destabilization of the Age a large section of the Fahets island to the south collapsed into the sea creating a new island off the coast.

The Basin
The Basin is the name given to the initial Link in point for Fahets. It is a grassy area rich in wildlife with a small pond at one end. The area is prone to heavy rains which often caused the basin to flood. As a result a large water pump was installed to keep the water levels down.
During the destabilization of Fahets the land within the basin shifted breaking the pond into 2 sections on different levels. A section of the basin walls collapsed allowing easier access to the area outside of the basin. This collapse was secured and a new path built to make accessing the outer area of the basin safer.

The Basin is the name given to the initial Link in point for Fahets. It is a smallish rocky basin dotted with boulders. The area was prone to flooding from heavy rain so a water pump was installed to keep the levels down.

The outer area of the basin is a rocky landscape with large trees and a myriad of flora and fauna.

Populating the area are large columns of carved stone that in some areas have fused with the surrounding landmass.

The Crimson Vale
Originally known as The Vale, it was once a serene area with large mushrooms surrounding a lake. After the destabilization event there has been a curious change in the area. There have been changes to the plants in the area causing them to grow significantly larger than they were once capable of, furthermore red spores cover the area like snow causing the trees and other plantlife to take on a red colour. As a result the air in the area has become unsafe without the use of Maintainer suits. What has caused this change has yet to be determined but this "infection" as it has been termed is slowly expanding outwards and threatens the Basin area as well.

As a result an air tight observation point has been constructed to keep an eye on the issue and study it in the hopes it can be stopped or reversed.

Norapod Swamps
The Norapods in the swamp seem to thrive on the waters in the area allowing them to grow to vast sizes dwarfing the smaller ones found elsewhere on the Age. A wooden walkways curve between the towering fruits leading to various outcrops of rock.
The swamp is also the nesting ground for Mangarks, meaning some areas of the swamp are extremely dangerous to visitors.

The swamp is also home to an enclosure established by Keith containing beetles used for ink creation after he discovered the beetles react well to the Norapods fostering their growth rate and size.

The Hub
Whilst not actually an area for Fahets, the hub is located in Cass and serves and a "nexus" of sorts allowing for access between the various areas of Fahets.

Wildlife
Norapod: A curious pod like plant from which it derives its name.

18-10-09: A few issues pushed back Phase 5 approval.

17-10-09: Some minor repairs have been made to the piping for the water pump.

Authorized explorers “Vid” and “Paradox” stop by for a visit.

05-10-09: Water has built up again due to the recent rain, Sophie’s team is looking into developing a new pumping system following some D’ni examples found in the cavern.

As a boon however the wildlife has flourished from all the rain. The Roseleaf tree was not so lucky.

23-08-08: A Roseleaf Tree has been selected for transplanting, and has been moved to Fahets for replanting. Tree was successfully moved without damage, we expect the tree to flourish in its new location.

22-08-08: Plans for development have been given a complete overhaul. Water levels have lowered significantly. Trips to one of The Third Path’s harvest Ages, Woodharvest, was made to assess which tree to transplant into Fahets.

Eder Fahsee is a garden Age and the fifth Age Written by Keith Lord. Like Sul the Age was Written using ink and Korteenea that was manufactured by Keith himself.

The Age was styled after that of Myst Island and was Written to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the game Myst's release.
Whilst the actual Age of Myst is largely shunned by Yeesha and considered a bad place Keith felt that the Myst game (which were based upon the events of Atrus' exile to said Age) was, for many in the explorer community, the spark that began the journey to the D'ni cavern.

Given how much of an impact the game had upon the explorer community Keith wanted to celebrate this. As a result he collected tales from within the community regarding their first interactions with the Myst game and chronicled them into a collection of books that can be found upon Eder Fahsee.

Appearance
The Age bears a striking resemblance to the Age of Myst but retaining significant differences. Formed from volcanic rock it sits within a large basin surrounded by water. Basalt columns litter the Age, jutting up from the rocky surface. The Age appears to be locked in a constant Autumnal period with the wildlife taking on the usual gold, browns and red colours.

There is numerous flora and fauna on the Age with large flowers that tower above visitors.
Several seating areas have been constructed to give visitors an area in which to relax.

Date Found: 07/10/09

Date Released: 09/07/10

]]

Fehnir's house is located in the the upper area of Ae'gura in the J'taeri district.

The house was purchased by Yaris who was originally a merchant from the City Proper. Yaris was a very popular man who made a large amount of wealth through his business. As a result he was able to have his son, Nemen, inducted into the Guild of Writers and moved his family to Ae'gura where his descendants have lived ever since.

At the time of the Fall, the house was inhabited by Fehnir and his wife Laia and his son Me'fehnir and his wife Nalen.

The family had one Age called Eder Ahryee, that was Written by Nemen as a gift to his father Yaris. But evidence discovered whilst restoring the house revealed they had access to a second Age called Lehns.

Fehnir was a relatively high ranking member of the Guild of Archivists. When the plague broke out Fehnir sent his friend and colleague, Jilen, ahead to make sure Fehnir's family got to safety. Jilen had no family of his own (indeed he was considered family by Fehnir and his wife such was their friendship) and because he was younger was able to reach the house faster than the older Fehnir.

Jilen ushered Laia, Me'fehnir and Nalen (along with a couple of stewards) to Eder Ahryee to keep them safe. Fehnir however never saw his family again, as he made his way home he succumbed to the plague and refused to Link to his family for fear of dooming them too. As a result he died alone in his study.

In the aftermath of the Fall, A'gaeris and Veovis went from building to building, house to house, Linking dead bodies filled with the plague into the Ages of D'ni spreading the contagion even further.
Eder Ahryee did not escape this seeding, evidence found in the study upon the first visit showed a smeared hand print upon the Eder Ahryee Kormahn.
From Jilen's writings found within Eder Ahryee it was discovered that the plague slowly spread through to Laia and the stewards, when they died Me'fahnir and Nalen fled to Lehns hoping they would be spared but they too were found dead near the Link in point in Lehns.
Jilen survived due to the fact he had moved to the other side of the forest. He blocked all access to the Eder Ahryee Link in point and remained in seclusion until he was found by Keith and Steven.

----

Appearance
Due to structural damaged caused by surrounding buildings the majority of Fehnir's family house is inaccessible whilst restoration efforts are carried out. A couple of rooms have been deemed safe for public access however.

The Study
Compared to some of the houses within the area, the house of Fehnir and his family is rather modest. This is reflected within Fehnir's study, it is a small room that also serves as the family's Book room. A door leads into the room from the hallway on the second floor with the Eder Ahryee Linking Book just inside the study itself. A small staircase leads down to the lower tier of the study where Fehnir's desk sits. Across from the desk is a plinth which houses several artifacts from the Age of Lehns above the plinth is a portrait of Fehnir himself.

A tall doorway opens out to a small balcony which overlooks the rest of the district and the D'ni cavern beyond.

The Relic Room
Access to the Relic Room was discovered during the restoration effort on Lehns. It is a small room with no discernible exit, smaller than the study itself. The room contains a wealth of artifacts and artworks from the Mahri people of Lehns. Large hand stitched tapestries cover the walls along with shields made of bone. A recessed shelf contains the many books of commentary written by Fehnir and his family regarding the Age of Lehns.

A plinth much like the one in the study contains more artifacts and a Linking Book to Lehns. On the wall next to the plinth is a large painting of Lehns itself a gift to Fehnir from his son, commissioned by the Guild of Artists.

Book location: Fehnir's House

Designation: D’ni Age]]

Yaris was a merchant originally from the city proper. He was very popular and amassed a decent amount of wealth from his business endeavors. As a result he moved his family to Ae'gura. Yaris eventually had a son called Nemen who was the first of this family to be entered into the Guilds. Nemen rose through the ranks of the Guild of Writers and eventually started working on his own Age.

Eder Ahryee was completed in 8712 DE and was given to Yaris as a gift by Nemen and served as the family Age.

When D'ni fell Fehnir's family alomg with Jilen, Fehnir's collegue, escaped into the Age. Fehnir upon seeing the dark cloud spread across the D'ni lake had sent the younger Jilen ahead to Fehnir's house to ensure his family made it to the Age safely. Fehnir was never to see his family again, dying in his study in order to keep the sickness away from his loved ones.

In the aftermath of the Fall Veovis and A'gaeris went from location to location seeding the various Ages with bodies of those infected with the plague. Eder Ahryee was one such Age infected. Curiously the pair did not infect Eder Ahryee with the corpse of Fehnir who was so close to the Descriptive Book. It is unknown why they didn't use his body, it is believed that they perhaps did not notice it slumped down beneath his desk.

With the Age now seeded with death it was not long before Laia, Me'fehnir, Nalen, and the stewards started to suffer. After Laia died Me'ehnir and Nalen fled to Lehns the second Age owned by Fehnir.

Jilen did not fall prey to the same fate, he had been living away from the family and destroyed the path to his side of the forest after he discovered the sickness had taken effect.

Jilen remained on the Age where he was later discovered by Keith Lord and Steven Ross from the Third Path group. However Jilen has since vanished from the Age after his meeting with the Third Path members.

----

Appearance
Eder Ahryee is a large forested Age with trees of silver bark and golden foliage. There are large cliffs of dark grey stone and waterfalls scattered throughout. It is home to a myriad of wildlife but it is from the Ahryee that it draws its name. The Age has been referred to as the Age of Perpetual Autumn by Fehnir's friends for the Age retains its autumn feel all through the year except for during the winter period when the leaves change colour but do not fall.

The Family House
The Link in point for Eder Ahryee sites up on an outcrop of rock which over looks a circular waterfall. On the opposite side of the water fall embedded in the rock is the Fehnir family house.

The main body of the house opens up into a large dining area with a kitchen branching off to the right and to the left the bedroom and study of Fehnir and Laia. It was within the bedroom that the Lehns Linking Book was discovered in a hidden compartment.

To the right of the house is a separate bedroom area which Me'fehnir and Nalen would stay in when visiting the Age.

Outside the house is a small courtyard area that faces the waterfall at the center of which was a well from which water was drawn for cooking and drinking. From the courtyard a small path leads around the edge of the falls and through a tunnel which leads to the greater part of Eder Ahryee.

The tunnel was blocked shortly after The Fall by Jilen in order to keep the plague away from his area of the forest.

Burial Site
Upon a ridge close to the Family house and overlooking the waterfall is the burial site. Here is the collective graves of Fehnir, Laia, Me'fehnir, Nalen, the two stewards, and the corpse sent through to poison the Age by Veovis and A'gaeris. The bodies were collected by Third Path members from their various resting places and placed in a collective spot so that Fehnir could be reunited with his family finally.

----

Notable Wildlife
Golden Crown Trees - Info forthcoming

Ahryee - Large gorilla like animals from which the Age derives its name. These animals are extremely strong and bad tempered with anything it perceives as encroaching on its territory. Baby Ahryee were often captured by Jilen in traps and taken back to his hut where he would use them as a source of food and clothing.

Other wildlife information to come.
History
Sul is the result of almost a decade of research and experimentation. With supplies of Kortee'nea and ink running low in the cavern Keith spent several years researching the processes the D'ni used to manufacture both. After many failed attempts he was finally met with success. Sul is the first Age Written with a Kortee'nea and ink that Keith himself developed.

The Age houses Keith's research into The Bahro and The Art.
The island is home to large clusters of crystals that mimic the makeup of crystals used by Atrus on Rime and the healing stone used by Katran to fix the Tay Book. In addition large stone cubes based on the same composition as the Bahro Stones jut out of the surrounding rock upon the island. Both elements utilized by Keith in his experiments with The Art.

----

Appearance
Sul is a small island sat within a calm ocean. Large rocks rise out of the placid waters meeting stone cliffs that form the island. Large crystals grow across the island and vast stone cubes of marbled rock protrude from the rocky landscape.
Surrounding the island is the vast remains of an unknown creature. The Link in point sits just off of the coast leading to a stone staircase that winds upwards to an enclosed area of verdant grass and strange spiral shaped trees. At the center of this area is a large rock dome that contains the Bahro research lab.
Designation: Human Age]]

Kehrahn is the third Age Written by Keith Lord for his wife Kehra. It was Written after Kehra visited Cass and exclaimed "You're making me one of these in purple right?".

The Age is heavily influenced by Kadish Tolesa and descriptions of Amateria and houses a native population. The Adal as they are called had no interaction with Keith and Kehra but did interact with Lore prior to their disappearance from the area.

Appearance
Kehrahn is a large island continent with the accessible part of the Age being only a small area located on the coast. At the center of the island his a vast crystal tree.

The accessible section of Kehrahn is a forest of tall rock and trees crowned in purple foliage. The Age is carpeted in grass in both green and purple of colour. Large bright purple crystals protrude from the ground spreading out as the grow. There are examples of these crystals growing in trees and turning them into smaller versions of the large crystal tree at the center of the Ages island.

Adal Village
Athu'reyere
At the center of the Kehrahn island stands a huge tree of crystal, it's upmost branches scratch the sky. The tree like many of the crystals found in the Age is purple and white it is believed that it is from this tree that the crystals originate but thus far that has not been confirmed.

According to Adal legend the tree grew from the remains of Reyere's heart. Upon a time the Goddess Emide walked the lands of (native Age name here)/Kehrahn taking in the sights and befriending the wildlife. One day she met Reyere a mortal man, they form a friendship exploring the lands and eventually falling in love.

One day Emide meets a man called Ufici and befriends him. Soon Emide is walking the lands more with Ufici than Reyere. All the while Ufici whispered words of corruption to Emide. For unknown to both Emide and Reyere Ufici was really Zamefa (the Adal equivalent to the Devil). Reyere saw the growing corruption in Emide and tried to warn her of Ufici, but she shunned Reyere and cast him aside.

Reyere left and wandered for years eventually finding his way back to the lands where Emide and Ufici resided. Ufici believing Reyere had gone for good lifted his disguise revealing himself as Zemefa. But Emide was wrathful and her anger absolute, her rage flooded the lands turning them to darkness and decay

Reyere witnessing this approached Emide hoping that he could still reach her. As Reyere looked into her eyes he saw not love but coldness, darkness and anguish.
Emide cast aside her name for she was Emide no more and became Lase the goddess of Death.

Reyere, heartbroken at the loss of Emide fled the lands one more journeying far before collapsing on an island in the middle of a lake in anguish and exhaustion. Bearing the pain no longer he cut out his own heart and buried it along with the memory of Emide on the island. From his buried heart the great crystal tree grew, erupting from the ground and piercing the sky above. Reyere watched in wonder as the tree grew and weeped as Emide emerged from it.
"Emide" he cried trying to reach for her.
"No Reyere" she whispered "Emide has gone never to return, I am Yuena"

As Yuena cradled his head Reyere passed and the crystals around Athu'reyere (Tree of Reyere) began their eternal song of lament.

Leaving the lake, Yuena continued to walk the lands much as Emide had done in the past. Championing life to combat the death brought by Lase.

Anecelase
Land of the dead

Lake/Stone Forest
Lake and stone forest. former place of worship by the Adal of Yuena theie goddess. Area abandoned when humans arrived.

Harmonic Crystals
The Age of Kehrahn is littered with purple crystal growth. Shards of these crystals originate from the crystal tree at Athu'Reyere. These shards float through the air, carried on the winds like drops of water eventually landing. They react to harmonic frequencies as such elements such as wind will cause the crystals to grow at a considerable rate. These crystals will consume anything they land upon if triggered. Trees, rocks even wildlife will be consumed.

Studies carried out on the Age indicate that the crystal growth will eventually envelope the entire Age consuming all life that resides upon it.

Notable Wildlife
Ning Trees are lightning shaped crystals (and most likely where they derived their name from) that inhabit Sphere 2 of Ahnonay.

The Ning are extremely delicate and will shatter at the merest touch. It is currently unknown if they were replaced by Kadish himself or if they actually grew back under some kind of accelerated growth.

Quabs are a quadrupedal crustaceans that can be found in Sphere 1 upon the island. They are a small shy creature that flee from visitors within the Age often choosing to jump and hide in the water. Quabs will return to the land slowly when they feel the area is safe from intruders. It is unknown whether the Quabs are native to the vortex or if Kadish brought them in from another Age.

Scrub grass can be found upon the landmasses found within Spheres 1, 2, and 3. The grass grows sparsely most likely due to it trying to grow in the hard rock of the island. The grass that does grow seems to thrive however but does not seem to grow too long. It should be noted that the grass (if the same specie within each of the three spheres) does not require an ample light source to survive as it grows within Sphere 03 which has a very limited light. Indeed all 3 of the spheres lack natural sunlight in general.

Terrose are named from the D'ni word 'ter' which means tree and rose after the color of the leaves found upon the tree. Sphere 1 of Ahnonay is populated by a fair few of these trees. The roots of the tree seem to have burrowed deep into the rock of the island. Like the Quabs it is unknown whether the trees were native to Ahnonay or brought in from another Age. However, given the nature of the vortex is is most likely they were brought in from another Age.

Sul is the result of almost a decade of research and experimentation.
To begin with the gallery did not fare well, largely in part due to people looking down on him for being expelled from the Guild. Eventually the store held a myriad of artistic pieces collected from both D’ni and outsider artisans, pieces that were eventually well known for their value.
Whilst the gallery was successful it was a front, the real success was coming from Kadish’s trading in illicit Ages.
Though the store has been in dis-repair for hundreds of years the DRC cleaned it up a bit before opening it. As a result, most of its artifacts are clearly visible and presentable for perusing.
The Kadish store is a mix-match of artifacts collected from both D’ni artisans as well as outsider artisans before the Fall. Though the store has been in dis-repair for hundreds of years the DRC cleaned it up a bit before opening it. As a result, most of its artifacts are clearly visible and presentable for perusing.

However, little known to most of the society, the real success was coming from Kadish’s writing of illegal black market books. The store was more of a front than anything, albeit a successful one, where both the elite and poor could come for book requests.
Because of his connections with the underworld and the black markets, Kadish had a fairly good idea of A’Gaeris’ and Veovis’ plan to end D’ni. He heard bits and pieces and though most thought the rumors to be ridiculous, Kadish began to buy into them. As a result, he quietly began to prepare an Age where he would be able to safely go if the “fall” occurred. Over the years, Kadish began to store his most valuable possessions in that Age, and over the years the Age began to consume him, as did his possessions. He carefully constructed puzzles to prevent others from being able to get to the Age, although hid many of the clues to the puzzles in his store (should family need to try and get there). Eventually, he became almost “mad” as some called him, completely consumed with his possessions and his Age that hid them. However, when the fall occurred he was safe.
Unfortunately his family was not. When the explosions hit, Kadish immediately ran to his safe Age and forsaking his family, friends, etc... Though he presumed they would show up some day, they never did. And, as a result, he lived the remaining years of his life in his Age with his possessions.
Guild Master Kadish was kicked out of the Guild in 9320. Kadish came from a wealthy family and, as a result, he had the money needed to start his own business after being kicked from the Guild. Started by Guild Master Kadish (Guild of Writers), the store was opened after his dismissal from the Guild of Writers. The store carried a number of outsider art pieces.

Book location: Er'cana]]

K’veer is one of many privately owned islands scattered around the lake. It is believed to have been one of the islands sold during the reign of King Emen in 5059 DE but that has yet to be confirmed for certain.

Prior to The Fall K’veer was the mansion home to Lord Rakeri and his son Lord Veovis. It is unknown how long the island had been in the hands of the family.
When Rakeri died Veovis used the island as his base of operations with A’gaeris whilst they plotted their revenge against D’ni.

After the Fall Aitrus, with Veovis’ help Linked to K’veer in an effort to beat A’gaeris to the island and save Ti’ana. Aitrus burned the supply of Books that A’gaeris has amassed and sacrificed himself Linking A’gaeris to a Death Age.

Later K’veer became the home to Gehn during his plans to rebuild the D’ni empire. When he was but a teenager, Atrus was brought to D’ni by his father Gehn, and joined him in K’veer. After falling out over the nature of The Art Atrus was imprisoned within a section of K’veer by his father. The room served as a prison for decades until Atrus with the help of people from the Age of Avarone breached the door and gained access once again to the rest of K’veer and D’ni as well.
K’veer once again became a base of operations, this time for Atrus and his group whilst they searched for D’ni survivors.

K’veer remained empty for 200 years or so until 2004 CE when Yeesha started members of the explorer community on the Path of the Shell. This journey took people through the Ages of Ahnonay and Er'cana and from there to the room that once served as Atrus’ prison.

In 2005 CE Dr. Richard Watson began The Quest to free the Bahro by returning the Tablet to them which was housed in K’veer. It is currently unknown as to how the “Keep”, which housed the Tablet, came to be in K’veer.

In 2007 CE the Ages of Ahnonay and Er'cana were finally released by the D'ni Restoration Council allowing a new wave of explorers to take the Path of the Shell as others had before, however instead of just Atrus’ prison room being accessible explorers could now access the outer corridor that lead down to a ballroom.

The Prison Room (for lack of a better name as the original purpose for the room is still unknown) is a large circular room with dark grey basalt like rock. The ceiling is exposed rock which reaches down to the tiled floor. Sections have been carved into thick columns that straddle recessed alchoves. A series of small red columns line the alchoves with what appears to be doors set into the back wall.

A tiled floor reaches across the room and at the center a large mosaic portrait of King Ri’neref looks out at the rock above. Surrounded by rubble a door leads out to the hallway beyond. To the left of the door a makeshift desk constructed of segments of rock and a tapestry once served as the desk of Atrus.

Pass the Prison Room a hallway of stairs winds its way downwards. Stained glass plant motif columns line the walls and reach up to a vaulted ceiling. The hallway opens up to a larger room with slim windows that overlook the hall on the other side before continuing down. Just prior to the hallway being caved in is a small doorway that leads through to the Hall.

The Hall, or ballroom is a large 2 tiered room flanked by faux columns that serve as lights. At the end of the room a large two tone window overlooks the D’ni lake. A staircase leads up to the second tier, a balcony that overlooks the hall below. Opposite the large window a Nexus terminal can be found.
Vothol is located on one of the private islands, it is possible it was one purchased during the era of King Emen although not confirmed.
It was the property of the Guild of Writers and at the time of The Fall it was used as a showcase for various Ages that people could visit. What the original purpose of the area was has yet to be discovered.

The island was discovered by an explorer known as “Rustee” during one of his trips to D’ni. A Linking Book was later discovered in one of the Ages.
Rustee believed it was a gallery due to a number of “paintings” depictiving vistas from various Ages as what he called “Age scopes” - metal spheres with panoramic views of the Ages. Most of the scopes were severely damages or non-functional. Rustee believed it was a public place due to where he found the Linking Book there were several Books that were similar, as though they were ready to be distributed to libraries.

After spending some time restoring the area it was then released on the 25th of August 2010. The area was later further restored by Patrick “Doobes” Dulebohn before being released to the greater explorer community July 2nd 2021.
